I Can't Login to JupyterHub

Problem:

A student who has had an active and working account is no longer able to login to JupyterHub.

Solutions:

Note: A new student's account must be configured first; this may not have happened yet. Contact the sysadmin if you are a new student who expects to be able to login.

  • If your username and password are not working on jupyterhub but are elsewhere this is usually because your password is expiring and not all parts of the system have gotten the message. This page gives you instructions for resetting your password. https://www.umsystem.edu/ums/is/infosec/how_to_use_the_secure_authentication_toolkit
  • If resetting your password does not work, contact the sysadmin. Your account maybe blocked.
